On September 12, 2017, at approximately 10:30AM, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of shots fired in the area of North Addison Lane and Route 173, Antioch Township.  Sheriff’s Deputies arrived and located evidence of a shooting, however nobody was struck by the gunfire.

Lake County Sheriff’s Detectives conducted an extensive investigation and determined Derrius L. On September 22, 2017, Sheriff’s Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Crenshaw for Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm (Class 1 Felony).  Crenshaw was arrested by the Chicago Police Department on September 24, 2017, and was transferred to the Lake County Jail on September 28, 2017.

Crenshaw remains held in the Lake County Jail on $250,000.00 bail.  His next court date is October 5, 2017 at 1:30PM in courtroom C-120.
