On August 23, 2017, at approximately 11:20PM, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of Norelius Avenue and North Thompson Street, unincorporated Round Lake, for reports of shots fired.  

When Sheriff’s Deputies arrived, they determined a 17 year-old male was shot.  The 17 year-old was transported to a local hospital, where he remains with critical injuries.
