Were you impacted by the flood? The Resource Center opens today in Round Lake Beach where you can connect with the services and resources you need. There will be a special bus taking people from the Waukegan area to the Resource Center. Catch the bus at Catholic Charities, 671 S. Lewis Avenue, Waukegan at the following times:
Thursday - 10:00 am and 1:00 pm
Trip Friday - 10:00 am and 1:00 pm
Trip Saturday- 10:00 am Only
Details about the Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC)
Residents impacted by the flood can meet with regional and statewide disaster organizations, including the Red Cross, Salvation Army, and other charity organizations. The Illinois Department of Insurance will also be on-hand to answer questions regarding insurance coverage. Bilingual support will be available. Clients will be able to get information on clean up assistance and shop for items that may need for clean-up and recovery. The Lake County Health Department / Community Health Center will also be on-hand to give out free water testing kits to those whose wells are affected by flooding. Lunch will be provided to clients.

Donation Hotline
The Salvation Army has created a toll-free Donation Hotline (888-369-1349). If you wish to donate items, you must call the hotline to determine if your donation is usable specifically for this flood. We are unable to accept spontaneous donations at the site, therefore you must call the hotline and use the process that has been set up for this event.
