The Lake County Sheriff’s Gang Task Force concluded a four-week investigation which led to the arrest of Jason D. Stackhouse, 36, of the 100 block of Oakwood Drive, Antioch.
On several separate occasions over the past month Stackhouse sold crack cocaine to an undercover Gang Task Force Detective. One of the sales took place within 300 feet of a school. Stackhouse was arrested on June 21, 2017, after again selling crack cocaine to the undercover detective.
Stackhouse was subsequently charged with one count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver - within 1,000 feet of a school (class X felony), six counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (class 1 felonies), and six counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance (class 4 felonies).
Stackhouse remains held in the Lake County Jail on $100,000.00 bail. His next court date is July 12, 2017 at 1:30PM in courtroom C-120.
Sheriff Curran reminds the public the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
