[ARCHIVED] Woman Arrested at Unincorporated Lake Villa Spa for Prostitution

On May 17, 2017, the Lake County Sheriff’s Gang Task Force conducted an undercover investigation in to reported prostitution occurring at Lilly Spa, 36735 North Route 83, unincorporated Lake Villa. The sheriff’s office received a tip indicating prostitution was occurring at Lilly Spa, and the Gang Task Force initiated an investigation.


During the undercover operation, Son O. Reandeau, 60, of the 1000 block of Main Street, Antioch, offered to perform sexual acts on an undercover detective, in exchange for money. Following the offer, Reandeau was arrested without incident.


Reandeau was transported to the Lake County Jail, where she was processed and charged with one count of prostitution (class A misdemeanor). She is next due in court on June 2, 2017 at 8:45AM in courtroom C-150.


Sheriff Mark Curran said, “Prostitution is not a victimless crime and is often associated with human trafficking. The Gang Task Force conducts operations throughout the year, working to find and rescue human trafficking victims, while arresting the ‘Johns’ who solicit prostitutes.”


Sheriff Curran reminds the public the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
