On May 11, 2017 members of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Team and U.S. Marshals Service – Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (USMS-GLRFTF) apprehended Jasmine R. Stevenson, 25, of the 9700 South Keeler Avenue, Oak Lawn.
On April 13, 2017 a Lake County Judged issued a $202,000.00 probation violation/failure to appear arrest warrant for Stevenson. The arrest warrant stems from three robberies Stevenson was involved in, which took place in October and November of 2014. Two of the robberies occurred in the 37600 block of North Route 59, Unincorporated Lake Villa. The other robbery occurred in the 36700 block of North Route 83, Unincorporated Round Lake.
On May 11, 2017 information was gathered indicating Stevenson was inside of her Oak Lawn residence. Members of the Lake County Sheriff’s Warrants team along with members of the USMS-GLRFTF successfully apprehended Stevenson, who was hiding underneath a bed, inside her residence.
Stevenson was transported to the Lake County Jail where she remains held. Stevenson is due in court on May 12, 2017 at 9:00AM in courtroom C-202.
Sheriff Curran reminds the public the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
