On April 28, 2017 members of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Team and U.S. Marshals Service – Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (USMS-GLRFTF) apprehended Michael L. Lee, 31, of the 2700 block of Galilee Avenue, Zion.
Lee is a documented street gang member who had an active $500,000.00 failure to appear arrest warrant for attempt possession of a stolen vehicle. On April 28th, Lake County Sheriff’s Warrants Deputies and members of the USMS-GLRFTF developed information confirming Lee was at his residence in the 2700 block of Galilee Avenue. He was located hiding inside of a closet, in his residence.
Lee was taken into custody and transported to the Lake County Jail, where he remains held on $500,000.00 bail. He is due in court on May 1, 2017 at 9:30AM in courtroom C-220.
