We are grateful for the steadfast workers who served Lake County’s voters - judges, site managers, technical representatives, greeters, and box carriers. Elections would be nothing without them. 

Our partnerships with the moving company who delivered and returned all the election equipment, the printer who produced your ballots, and the amazing contacts at the 122 Election Day and 14 early voting sites made us feel like we were directing a very large orchestra. 

For most voters and candidates, this election is over. We still have work to do – tally the write-in votes, determine the validity of any provisional ballots, and re-tabulate specific groups of ballots identified by Illinois State Board of Elections to verify our accuracy. When we are finished, we will take a short breath and start preparing for the next election in March 2018!
