[ARCHIVED] Ingleside Armed Robbery

On March 29, 2017 at approximately 8:45PM, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an armed robbery at the A&N Convenience/Liquor Store at 34780 Catherine Street, Ingleside.


Preliminary investigation shows the offender entered the store armed with a semiautomatic pistol. He took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, before fleeing on foot. The offender ran to a waiting vehicle, where he entered the passenger side, and the vehicle fled northbound on Wilson Road. The clerk was not injured during the incident.


The offender is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’08”, 150 pounds, possibly between the ages of 30 and 40. The vehicle is described as a white Volkswagen Passat, possibly a 2006 or 2007. The Passat has either black rims or no hubcaps and the passenger-side headlight is burnt out.
