Although March 20 is the first day April ballots will be ready for mailing, Lake County registered voters can request a ballot by mail now until March 30. A ballot can be mailed to any alternate address. So, carefully consider your ballot delivery address if you have travel plans for this time of the year.
April's ballots cannot be printed until the March 14th final certification of the winning February 28th primary candidates. The required two weeks after any election allows for late arriving mailed and the processing of provisional ballots.
Beginning March 15, registered Lake County voters can preview their ballot online at LakeVoterPower.info after logging in to confirm their registration status.
