On February 1, 2017 at approximately 9:30PM Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 18300 block of West Springwood Drive, unincorporated Grayslake, for an armed robbery. When sheriff’s deputies arrived they found a battered victim.

Preliminary investigation shows the victim, a 37 year-old man, returned home from work and was attacked, as he was entering his home. The offender punched the victim in the head and attempted to use a stun-gun to subdue the victim. The victim was robbed of USC (undisclosed amount).

The offender is described as an African American male, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt. He concealed his face during the robbery.
