[ARCHIVED] Lake County Merit Commission Accepting Applications for Deputy Sheriff


The Lake County Sheriff’s Merit Commission is currently accepting applications for the position of deputy sheriff. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and at least 21 years of age at the time of orientation, a high school graduate (or GED) and possess a valid driver’s license.

The eligibility process includes attendance at the orientation and successful completion of the physical agility test, written entrance exam, oral interview, psychological exam, polygraph, and background investigation.

Applications will be accepted through Friday, September 2, 2016 at 4:00 PM. There is a $25 application fee payable on-line at the time of application at Lake County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
