[ARCHIVED] Scammers Targeting Lake County Residents Pretending to Be Local Government Officials

Residents need to be aware of a scam, in which con artists are calling, introducing themselves as a member of the 19th Judicial Circuit or Sheriff’s Office. Neither the Sheriff’s Office nor 19th Judicial Circuit will call residents and request money.
