As of tax year 2023 (payable in 2024) the below exemptions will be updated as follows:

• General Homestead Exemption will increase from $6000 to $8000. 
• Senior Homestead Exemption will increase from $5000 to $8000. 
• Standard Homestead Exemption for Veterans with Disabilities (SHEVD) now allows a revision to the surviving spouse benefit and an end to annual reapplications for veterans with a combined service-connected disability rating of 100% and is deemed to be permanently and totally disabled.
