Lake County Public Works (LCPW) will be constructing a new water tower to be located at 18534 W. Old Gages Lake Road, Grayslake. And we are seeking the public's help to name the new water tower before construction begins in 2023!
LCPW is accepting name ideas through December 16, 2022. The submissions will be reviewed and between two and five options will be selected to choose from via a survey in January. The name of the new water tower will be announced in early 2023.

Guidelines
- Submissions will be reviewed and between two and five finalists will be selected for the public to choose from via a survey in January
- Names deemed to be threatening, profane, obscene, commercial, or promoting of organizations or programs not related to or affiliated with Lake County will not be considered
- By submitting a naming idea, users understand and acknowledge that any submitted content will be reviewed by Lake County government staff
About the new water tower
The new water tower is needed to meet the increased water demand due to new development over the years. The water tower will help ensure local homes and businesses have good water pressure and access to water during emergencies, such as power outages.
