Lake County residents correctly registered with their current name and address can now complete the required application to request a ballot by mail for the March 17, 2020 General Primary Election. This is an ideal voting option for snowbirds, students away at school, and those who will be traveling on Election Day as your ballot can be mailed to a temporary alternate address. Remember, 17-year olds may register and vote in this primary election if the 18th birthday is on or before the November 3, 2020 General Election

The Lake County Clerk’s office must receive your completed application by noon on Thursday, March 12, 2020.
Mail your voted ballot back to the Lake County Clerk’s office with a postmark no later than Election Day, March 17.
Pending state certification of candidates, ballots will be printed and mailed beginning February 6, 2020.
