[ARCHIVED] Public Water Supply Boil Order in Effect, Wildwood Water System

Public Water Supply Boil Order in Effect

Affected Customers in Wildwood Water System – Wildwood, IL

Early this morning, we experienced a failure to one of the booster pumps at the Almond Road Reservoir. As a result, the water pressure in some areas of the system fell below 20 psi. Our staff was on-site, and the repair is completed. Impacted customers should see a restoration of the system water pressure. Because the system pressure fell below 20 psi, a precautionary BOIL ORDER notice will be issued.

Customers in the area above who experienced loss of water service or low water pressure should boil their water at least FIVE minutes before using.

The Precautionary BOIL ORDER will remain in effect until laboratory sampling confirms that water quality has been fully restored. This may be Monday morning at the earliest. You will receive notification at that time.

Please call our Office at 847-377-7500, if you have any questions or need further information.
