On July 21, 2016, the Lake County Sheriff’s Gang Task Force, in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) concluded a month-long investigation into the known street gang member Zachary S. Moore, 24, of the 2500 block of North Augusta Drive, Wadsworth.
On July 21st, a search warrant was conducted at Moore’s Wadsworth residence. Over 60 grams of heroin was located, along with equipment indicative of drug sales. Over $10,000 USC was seized from Moore’s residence, which is believed to be profits from the sale of drugs.
Moore was subsequently charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Class X Felony), Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class 1 Felony), and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Class A Misdemeanor).
Moore is currently being held in the Lake County Jail on $200,000.00 bail. His next court date is August 15, 2016, at 1:30PM in courtroom C-120.
Sheriff Curran reminds the public that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
