On May 27, 2022, sheriff’s detectives conducted the search warrant and seized numerous electronic devices. Forensic examination of those devices revealed Jordan L. Curtis, 18, of the same address, possessed dozens of videos of girls under the age of 13 engaged in sexual acts with adult males.
On May 31, 2022, sheriff’s detectives presented the facts and evidence to the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office, who authorized an arrest warrant for Curtis for three counts of possession of child pornography (class 2 felonies). After hearing the facts of the case, a Lake County Judge signed the warrant and set a bond of $200,000.00.
Curtis was arrested at his residence without incident on June 1, 2022.
