On Monday, July 25 at 6 am, the Union Pacific Railroad will close the railroad crossing on Illinois Route 176 east of US Route 41 to widen the crossing. At the same time, the Lake County Division of Transportation will reconfigure the the North Shore Bike Path at that location. The crossing is scheduled to reopen to traffic in the early evening of Saturday, July 30.
