[ARCHIVED] Old McHenry Road to Close for One Day at Wisconsin Central Railroad Crossing

Hawthorn Woods, IL – Wisconsin Central Railroad will be temporarily closing Old McHenry Road to through traffic from Midlothian Road to Quentin Road. The road closure is necessary for Wisconsin Central Railroad to repair the existing rails at the railroad crossing. The road closure will begin Saturday, Nov. 7 at 7:30 a.m. and is scheduled to reopen by 7:30 p.m.

Detour route: Quentin Road, to Illinois Route 22, to Main Street, to Midlothian Road.
