On August 22, 2020, at approximately 8:05PM, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Hunt Club Road south of Millburn Road, Old Mill Creek, for a motorcycle crash with injuries.  Sheriff’s deputies arrived and found a 2014 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle west of the roadway.  

Preliminary investigation shows the Harley-Davidson, driven by a 63-year-old male of Gurnee, was traveling southbound on Hunt Club Road just south of Millburn Road.  For an unknown reason, the driver left the roadway and was ejected from his motorcycle.  The driver sustained significant injuries upon being ejected and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Lake County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene and an autopsy has been scheduled for August 25, 2020.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s office Technical Crash Investigations Unit.
