37643 Sheridan Rd 6-4-2020sn (3)

On June 4, 2020, at approximately 2:50AM, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle versus residence traffic crash in the 37600 block of North Sheridan Road, Beach Park.  Sheriff’s Deputies arrived and found both a vehicle and a home with major damage.

Preliminary investigation shows a 2008 Chevrolet Impala was occupied by three males, an 18-year-old of Zion, a 16-year old of Zion, and a 14-year-old of Beach Park.  The vehicle was traveling southbound on Sheridan Road, when for an unknown reason, the driver lost control and struck the front of a home.

Nobody inside the home was injured.  One of the three occupants was able to escape from the vehicle, while two others remained trapped and required extrication by the fire department.  The three occupants of the vehicle were transported to Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan with non-life-threatening injuries.

Kenosha Police Department responded to the scene to process the vehicle for evidence.  The crash remains under investigation and criminal charges are pending at this time.
