A water main break occurred Tuesday, March 10 on the primary feed line to the North Libertyville Estates neighborhood. Lake County Public Works crews successfully repaired the water main, but customers may have had reduced water pressure or no water running when the break occurred. Because of this, Lake County Public Works issued a boil order notice for the North Libertyville Estates neighborhood.

Customers in the North Libertyville Estates neighborhood who experienced a loss of water service or low water pressure should boil their water for at least FIVE minutes before using it.

The boil order will remain in effect until at least Thursday, March 12, when laboratory sampling can confirm that water quality has been fully restored.
