On May 14, 2016, at approximately 11:00PM, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence in the 39300 block of North Lake Avenue, Unincorporated Lake Villa, for a report of five people overdosing on an unknown substance. When deputies arrived, they located five adults who appeared to be suffering from an overdose.

Two of the individuals were found to be unconscious and unresponsive. Sheriff’s deputies administered a dose of Naloxone to both of the unresponsive subjects. Upon receiving the Naloxone, both responded and regained their consciousness.

The other three individuals were conscious, but incoherent. All five were transported via ambulance to an area hospital, where they are expected to live.

Evidence was located at the scene consistent with drug use. Lake County Sheriff’s Detectives responded to the scene and will continue the investigation into this incident.
