On October 15, 2019, at approximately 9:50PM, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven, 37763 North Green Bay Road, Beach Park.  Sheriff’s Deputies arrived and determined at least two individuals committed the armed robbery.

The preliminary investigation shows just before 9:50PM, two male subjects (both described as African American, approximately 5’07” – 5’09,” between the ages of 18 and 20, both wearing hooded sweatshirts) entered the store and confronted the clerk, asking the clerk to make change.  One of the two individuals displayed a semi-automatic pistol and demanded money from the cash register.  

An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen along with cigarettes.  Both subjects fled on foot following the robbery.  A K9 track was conducted and ended in the area of Northern Avenue and Yorkhouse Road in Beach Park, where the offenders likely entered a vehicle.
