On April 22, 2019, at approximately 2:15AM, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 26200 block of North Hickory Avenue, Unincorporated Mundelein, for a report of a man shot.  

Sheriff’s Deputies arrived and found a 22-year-old resident of the home injured with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.  He was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.  

Preliminary investigation shows the man was shot while in his bedroom.  He was shot by someone who fired from outside of the residence.
