On several separate occasions over the last month, Linder sold crack cocaine to an undercover Gang Task Force Detective in the North Chicago and Waukegan areas. On February 20th, Linder again sold crack cocaine to the undercover detective in the area of Belvidere Road and McAlister Ave, Waukegan. He was arrested without incident and found to be in possession of an additional four grams of crack cocaine.
Linder was transported to the Lake County Jail and subsequently charged with:
Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Class 1 Felony) – 1 count
Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Class 2 Felonies) – 3 counts
Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class 4 Felonies) – 4 counts
Sheriff John Idleburg said, “Expect to see many more arrests of the drug pushers in our community. Our Gang Task Force will be relentless when it comes identifying and holding drug dealers accountable, as we have zero-tolerance for the harm they cause our society.”
Linder remains held in the Lake County Jail on $100,000.00 bail. He is next due in court on March 13, 2019 at 1:30PM in courtroom T110.
Sheriff Idleburg reminds the community all suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
