On January 4, 2019, Redmond was seen leaving the Crystal Lake residence. Warrants Team Deputies followed him to the Fremont Township worksite and arrested him without incident. Redmond’s father, Edward A. Redmond, 68, of the 300 block of Valhalla Circle, was also arrested for Obstructing Service of Process (Class B Misdemeanor), for his role in concealing John from authorities.
