On December 17, 2018, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Team in conjunction with the U.S. Marshals Service-Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (USMS-GLRFTF) apprehended Anne M. Stetson, 47, of the 41500 block of North Route 41, Wadsworth, and James C. Pease, 50, of the same address.
Pease had an active Lake County failure to appear arrest warrant for burglary ($100,000.00 bond) and Stetson had an active Lake County arrest warrant for theft ($30,000.00 bond). Members of the Lake County Sheriff’s Warrants Team developed information the pair were living in a motel in the 41500 block of North Route 41.
Warrants Deputies set up surveillance and located both inside a motel room. Both were apprehended without incident. Pease was found to be in possession of methamphetamine during the arrest.
In addition to the arrest warrant Pease was charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine (Class 3 Felony)
Unlawful Possession of Drug Equipment (Class A Misdemeanor)
Pease remains held in the Lake County Jail on $100,000.00 bail and is due in court today. Stetson was released on a $20,000 Recognizance Bond and is due in court on January 10, 2019 at 9:00AM in courtroom C-405.
Sheriff Idleburg reminds the public the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
