On December 1, 2018, at approximately 6:45PM, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the area of West Crescent Avenue and Northern Avenue, Waukegan Township, for a fatal hit-and-run traffic crash.  Waukegan Police Department was already on the scene, as they were dispatched to the area for a person down.

An autopsy is being scheduled by the Lake County Coroner’s Office.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Technical Crash Investigations Unit.  Anyone with any information about the crash is encouraged to call the Lake County Sheriff’s Office at 847-549-5200 or Lake County CrimeStoppers at 847-662-2222.
