Waukegan, IL– The Lake County Sheriff’s Office announced the results of the 5-day Halloween Impaired Driving and Seat Belt Enforcement patrols. Results included 1 impaired driving arrest, 67 seat belt citations and 1 warrant arrest.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office joined forces with other state and local law enforcement and highway safety partners in the Illinois Halloween Impaired Driving and Seat Belt Enforcement Patrols.

The law enforcement campaign was funded by federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation as part of the statewide Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over and Click It or Ticket campaigns.
