[ARCHIVED] Sheriff’s Warrants Team and Gang Task Force Apprehend Three Subjects

Warrants 8-28-18

On August 24, 2018, members of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Team and U.S. Marshals Service – Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (USMS-GLRFTF) responded to a residence in the 1100 block of Beach Rd, Waukegan to locate two wanted subjects.

Felix E. Guadarrama, 25, of the 1100 block of Drew Ln, Waukegan, had outstanding warrants for Criminal Damage to Property (Class 4 Felony) and Escape (Class 3 Felony). Chase J. Parthe, 27, of the 1100 block of Beach Rd, Waukegan, a documented street gang member, had an outstanding warrant for Failure of Violent Offender Against Youth to Report Change of Address (Class 3 Felony). During the apprehension of these individuals, cocaine and a firearm were located in plain view within the residence. The Lake County Sheriff’s Gang Task Force assisted to further investigative efforts. A total of 52 grams of cocaine, one revolver style handgun, one stolen semi-automatic handgun, paraphernalia, and over $1,100 USC were seized from the residence.

Riley J Markus, 25, of the 1900 block of Kenton Ln, Libertyville, was also located in the residence and found to be in possession of cocaine and cannabis and was charged with Attempt Possession of Controlled Substance (Class A Misdemeanor). Riley was processed and released at the Lake County Jail. He is next due in court on 9/10/2018 at 9:00 AM in Courtroom C403.

In addition to the outstanding warrants, Guadarrama was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (Class 4 Felony). Guadarrama’s bond was set at $100,000.00 and he is next due in court on 8/30/2018 at 1:30 PM in Courtroom T110.

In addition to Parthe’s outstanding warrant, he was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (Class 1 Felony), Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Class X Felony), Unlawful Possession of Weapon by Felon (Class 2 Felony). Parthe’s bond was set at $250,000.00 and he is next due in court on 8/31/2018 at 9:00 AM in Courtroom T110.

Sheriff Curran reminds the public the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
