On Monday, June 4, 2018 at approximately 7:37 PM, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 43000 block of North Trevor Road in Antioch Township for a traffic crash involving a motorcycle.

Preliminary investigation shows a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, driven by a 51-year-old Zion man, was southbound on North Trevor Road. For an unknown reason, the motorcycle left the roadway and went into a wooded area. The driver was not wearing a helmet and he was ejected from the motorcycle. The man was transported to St. Catherine’s Medical Center in Pleasant Prairies, Wisconsin, with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Technical Crash Investigations Unit.
