On Monday, April 30, 2018, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and US Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (USMS-GLRFTF) arrested Mark A Jones, 26, of 15 S Martin Luther King Jr Avenue in Waukegan.

Jones was wanted on a felony warrant for Escape and a felony warrant for Failure to Appear-Robbery. The warrants were obtained by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office after Jones left the Community Based Corrections Center of the Lake County Jail and failed to return on February 7, 2018.

Jones was located at an apartment in the 700 block of N Lewis Avenue in Waukegan where he was observed walking to a grocery store. Jones was arrested as he exited the grocery store, and transported to the Lake County Jail.
