One-Stop Operator procurement

The Lake County Workforce Development Board (the “Board”) is governed by the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 (WIOA). As described in WIOA Section 107(d), it is the duty of the Board to designate or certify a One-Stop Operator. WIOA requires the selection of a One-Stop Operator through a competitive process. The One-Stop Operator must be selected by July 2018.

Procurement process

As stated in the Lake County Workforce Development Local Plan, the competitive process used to award the sub-grants and contracts in the local area for activities carried out under this Title are pursuant to the Lake County procurement policies and procedures. Purchasing policies can be found in the Lake County Purchasing Ordinance.
