[ARCHIVED] Lake County Sheriff’s Warrants Deputies Apprehend Two in a Day

On January 3, 2018, members of the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Team and U.S. Marshals Service - Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (USMS-GLRFTF) apprehended Dominic J. Longmire, 20, of the 300 block of North Green Bay Road, Waukegan.  Longmire had an active felony failure to appear arrest warrant for robbery ($700,000.00 bond - original charge stems from a Waukegan Police investigation).

Warrants deputies developed information indicating Longmire was residing at a residence in the 1800 block of 104th Street, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.  Warrants deputies made contact with the occupants of the home and learned Longmire recently left the residence.  One of the residents, Jessica L. Tanner, 36, was found to have an active Lake County failure to appear arrest warrant for driving under the influence (no bond).  Tanner was arrested and transported to the Kenosha County Jail where she remains held pending extradition proceedings.

Warrants deputies then located Longmire at his above Waukegan residence.  Longmire was arrested without incident and transported to the Lake County Jail where he remains held.  Longmire is next due in court on January 11, 2018, at 9:00AM in courtroom C-201.

Sheriff Curran reminds the public the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
