Mary's Mission Annual Christmas Program and Toy Give-Away at the Lake County Sheriff's Office Saturday, December 16, 2017, beginning at 10:30 AM.
Sheriff Mark Curran and members of the Lake County Sheriff's Office will join Mary's Mission & Shelter Care for the annual Christmas Program and toy and food give-away being held at the Lake Sheriff’s Office, located at 25 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Waukegan.
Sheriff Curran will join community leaders at Mary's Mission Christmas Parade prior to the program. The Christmas Parade will begin at Mary's Mission and Shelter Care located at 642 S Martin Luther King Jr Avenue in Waukegan and will end at the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, 25 S Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Waukegan. Following the parade, the Sheriff will welcome guests at the toy and food give-a-way scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.
Sheriff Curran stated, "I am grateful to Dr. Lacey for her continued commitment to assist the incarcerated and their families. For many of the families attending Saturday's event, the donated gifts are their only Christmas presents.”
