On Monday, December 4, Sheriff Mark Curran announced a moratorium on all evictions effective December 21, 2017, through January 4, 2018.

"There is no need to evict folks during the holidays. The 15-day moratorium allows families to stay together in their homes or apartments until after the moratorium period,” stated Curran.
