On November 23, 2017, at approximately 10:23AM, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of Route 134 and West Venetian Drive, Ingleside, for a traffic crash with injuries.  When Sheriff’s Deputies arrived, they located a 2016 Dodge Dart with significant damage.

Preliminary investigation shows the Dodge, driven by a 33 year-old man of Round Lake, was traveling eastbound on Route 134.  For an unknown reason, the vehicle left the roadway and drove onto the south shoulder.  The driver then overcorrected, crossed into the westbound lane of traffic, before driving off the north side of the roadway.  The vehicle then rolled.  

The driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville with critical injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Technical Crash Investigations Unit.
