UPDATE – Missing Man Located

Glenn Stojak was located late last night at a residence in unincorporated Island Lake.  Stojak is safe.  The Lake County Sheriff’s Office thanks those who shared the information.

Sheriff’s Office Searching for Missing Wauconda Township Man

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office asks for the community’s assistance in locating a missing 26 year-old man.  Glenn Stojak was reported missing by a family member on November 7, 2017.  He left his home (25600 block of West Blakely Parkway, Wauconda) and informed a family member he was going to cause harm to himself.  Later in the day, information was developed indicating he was in the area of Maywood, Illinois.

On November 8, 2017, new information indicated Stojak was possibly in the area of Island Lake.  

Stojak is listed as missing and endangered.  His clothing description is unknown.
