If you need to update your record or register for the first time, voter registration is open now and is conveniently available by mail.

A printable mail-in registration form is available online at the Lake County Clerk’s website. The completed form must be postmarked or delivered to the Lake County Clerk’s office by close of business on February 18. Your mail-in form must be accompanied by the appropriate documentation as listed on the form.

To register, you must be a United States citizen, 18 years of age or older by the November 3, 2020 Election Day, and meet a 30-day Lake County residency requirement. You must provide two forms of valid identification, both showing your current name and physical Lake County street address.

Remember, 17-year olds may register and vote in this primary election if the 18th birthday is on or before the November election.
