The Lake County Zoning Board of Appeals has scheduled a public hearing on September 13, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lake County Public Works Training Facility, 648 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville, Illinois. The hearing is to consider the appeal of the administrative decision of the Lake County Planning, Building and Development Director that the proposed accessory structure does not meet the Lake County, Illinois Code of Ordinances Section 151.271 definition of a boathouse. The appellants request that the Zoning Board of Appeals reverse the decision.
