The Lake County Zoning Board of Appeals has scheduled a public hearing on October 24, 2022, at 9:00 A.M. at the Lake County Maintenance Department, 648 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville, Illinois on the petition of Richard T Sorensen, record owner, who seeks the following variances from the requirements of the Lake County Code and any other zoning relief as required:
- Reduce the east street side setback from 30 feet to 19.39 feet.
- Reduce the north side setback from 9.7 feet to 5.91 feet.
The purpose of the variances is to bring the existing house into compliance with the Lake County Code and for the construction of an attached garage.
Please note that quantitative values may be subject to minor alterations due to surveyed conditions. The subject property is located at 25262 and 25270 W. Hawthorne Avenue, Antioch, Illinois and are approximately 0.29 acres combined. PINs 01-25-217-027 and 01-25-217-028.
