Major Crime Task Force

The Lake County Sheriff's Office is a member of the Lake County Major Crime Task Force.  The Lake County Major Crime Task Force was formed in 1992 in response to a mutual need for vast investigative resources and expertise from all Lake County law enforcement agencies.  The Lake County Major Crime Task Force consists of a Commander, Assistant Commanders, Supervisors, Investigators, Evidence Technicians, and Support Staff.  They respond to homicides, suspicious deaths, in-custody deaths, officer-involved shootings, and heinous crimes in communities who are members of the task force.
