To meet this goal, consumers receive transition coordination, support to continue their education or to get a job, as well as coaching from peers who have lived through similar experiences.
Williams Class members receive daily case management from an ACT team that consists of counselors. Psychiatric care is provided on site as well as medication management. The ultimate goal of the ACT team is to provide case management to reintegrate consumers back into the community and improve independent function. The ACT team can be reached at 847-377-8342.
Consumers in this program also have access to 2 consumer-run drop-in centers. The centers are designed to provide a non-clinical environment for individuals to socialize, receive support from their peers and access computers. The supervised building spaces include a computer room and a seating area with a large screen television.
