8/17/2022 - Milling of Hawley Street is complete as of Monday 8/15. Concrete subcontractor has poured some new curb and gutter, notably at all intersections. Today they plan to pour any remaining curb and gutter and all sidewalk by the end of the week. Leveling binder will be placed today between Chevy Chase and IL60 followed by shoulder excavation starting tomorrow in preparation for placing new 4’ paved shoulders.
8/10/2022 - The contractor is scheduled to begin milling Hawley starting at Midlothian and heading westbound tomorrow. As Hawley is a 3-lane road from Midlothian to IL60, the contractor has been allowed to begin work at 7 AM if they choose as long as they keep two way traffic moving. The concrete subcontractor will be framing curb & gutter and sidewalk and plans to begin pouring concrete Friday.

7/20/2022 - This morning paving begins for the bike path on Hawley Street at IL60 heading west. This is expected to continue for about a week and a half to completion. Work will be followed with pouring sidewalk at intersection corners for ADA ramps and milling Hawley Street.
