Project Location: Wilson Road and Rollins Road
Project Description: Lake County Public Works (LCPW) is rehabilitating 850 feet of a 42” interceptor sewer, which includes the associated by-pass pumping of sewer flows in the area that is necessary to allow for sewer lining. Sewer lining is a “trenchless” technology that minimizes community disruption and digging.
In 2023, Lake County Public Works (LCPW) will resume sanitary sewer rehabilitation. The contractor will need to access the work area through a manhole in the northeast corner of the Wilson and Rollins Road intersection.
Temporary daytime lane shifts between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. will be necessary to complete this sewer lining work. Traffic signal operations will also be adjusted during these work hours. Please allow for extra travel time through the intersection and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
