Work Experience
Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Lake County Workforce Development can sponsor a qualified individual for a paid work experience for up to 6 months.
A work experience may be 20 to 40 hours per week.
Locations and type of work experiences vary; some recent work experiences have been in the following fields: IT, healthcare support, project management, office administration.

In order to participate in a work experience, an applicant must:
* live in Lake County or have been laid off from a job in Lake County
* qualify based upon income or layoff status
* be eligible to work in the United States
You are invited to submit your resume and areas of interest here. You will be asked to upload your resume, so have an electronic copy ready as you fill out the application below.
You will not be contacted unless an available work experience matches your qualifications. Resumes will be kept on file for 3 months. Please resubmit your resume after 3 months if you are still interested in a work experience.
