Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP)

The Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) is an evidence-based program providing prevention curricula to 6th through 9th grade students in a classroom setting. Lessons cover topics related to social, physical, and emotional health. Topics include proper hygiene habits, reproductive health, communication skills, bullying, and peer pressure. PREP facilitators meet with students for six to nine weeks, one class period per week. Classes include a combination of formal lessons, movie clips, discussions, and games.
